The story here is...
Uncle Cyle and Aunt Doodie console an upset Sarah. Sarah was being a little on the wild side when she was told to stop. She started to cry then and ask "Why does everyone have to yell at me? They can just tell me nicely to stop, right?, but they yelled at me" She cried for a long time about this and Uncle Cyle and Aunt Doodie had a nice TALK with her then about listening!
Sarah really has a soft little heart and wants to be a good girl!!

The story here is...
Sarah being a student in her mommies classroom! We went for a visit to help set up the room and Sarah kept calling her mom "Mrs. Walton"! "Mrs. Walton, what can I do now?" "Mrs. Walton, can I help you do that?" I believe Sarah could really be a student in Mrs. Walton's first grade classroom!

The story here is...
Sarah can speak to my heart with her eyes. Gertie once told me that about Beckie. I am experiencing the same connection with Sarah as Gertie had with Beckie. When I get the camera out, Sarah knows I am wanting to take her picture. She will look right through the lens to me ~ her Meme ~ and give me this look you see above. It is a look of tolerance, since she may now want her picture taken, but it is also a look of patience. A look that says... I love you Meme so I will do as you ask! That's my girl!

The story here is...
"Miss Thang", as I affectionately call Vanessa, came to visit today!! We haven't seen Vanessa in years so it was very exciting to see her and her two beautiful children, Ethan and Ainsley! Sarah and Ethan hit it right off and enjoyed swimming together! Beckie and Vanessa enjoyed reminiscing about how I LET THEM DO THIS AND THAT in high school... truth be known... I had NO IDEA they did THIS OR THAT!!!

The story here is...
Our little Townsend, is laying in grass for the first time in his life! He certainly did not like it much at first, but after a few words of encouragement from Mommy, Meme and Roxi, he soon got the hang of it and actually loved crawling around the yard!! This picture shows his incredible flexibility. We may have a little yogi on our hands... hey Dagmara... isn't this almost a YOGA BOAT POSE??

The story here is...
My old backyard. The place my children grew up... The sheds that Rick, Bob and Dave built... The fort, Dave built, now repainted, that used to have a swing set attached, that used to read "LESJAK FORT" across the board above the window, that used to read " BOYS ONLY" and "GIRLS RULE" across the board under the window! It is now loved by two little boys! The house and fort have been sold twice since our day. We had some mighty fun times up in the fort. The shed has electricity so sleep overs happened up in the fort often with movies playing! Papa needs to build another fort, in another backyard, for some other little kids... Don't you think so too?
